Professional background/experience
Claire completed her medical degree at Melbourne University in 2004. During her hospital training, she worked at The Royal Women’s Hospital for one year and completed a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
As a GP, Claire has worked in Darwin and in various general practices across Melbourne.
Claire is an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Professional interests
Claire takes a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and enjoys practicing medicine with families through all stages of life. In particular, she enjoys partnering with women during pre-conception, pregnancy and parenthood.
She is accredited for Shared Care with The Royal Women's Hospital (Sandringham), looking after her patients throughout their pregnancy in collaboration with the hospital.
Personal interests outside of work
Claire enjoys spending time with her own family – she has two young children. Claire loves to paint, spend time outdoors and practice yoga.
