Professional Background/Experience:
Heidi is an experienced counsellor, AHPRA-approved Psychologist, and Anzacata-approved Creative Arts Therapist. Heidi is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) completing her studies at LaTrobe and Swinburne University. She is passionate about supporting people on their journey to greater psychological wellbeing and more fulfilling relationships. Heidi has worked in private practice for almost 15 years helping people across the lifespan, as well as in private and public Kinders / Schools to assist children (2-18), their families & educators.

Heidi is interested in treating Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, relational issues, and supporting women through conception, pregnancy, birth to beyond the Perinatal period. She has a wealth of experience supporting families with Developmental Differences in a Neuro-affirming way, as well as Sleep Disorders, Eating Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Trauma.

Heidi’s humanistic, person-centered approach draws on a wide range of therapeutic modalities to suit each client’s unique situation and needs. She predominantly uses Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) alongside other approaches such as creative arts, sandplay, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, internal family systems, narrative therapy and neurofeedback.
