Simone Morris  

Simone completed her Master of Nursing Science from The University of Melbourne in 2019. Following her graduation, she commenced her career at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Simone thoroughly enjoyed the role, working collegiately with multidisciplinary teams, whilst building rapport with children and their families. 

Simone recently returned from Central Australia, where she worked in the Emergency Department of the Alice Springs Hospital. This was her first opportunity to live outside of Melbourne, in which the experience served to expand her nursing knowledge and skills. While Simone remains passionate about the complexity and autonomy of Emergency Department nursing, she is currently pursuing a post graduate degree in Public Health, with the intention of specialising in paediatric and women’s health. 

Outside of work, Simone enjoys spending quality time with friends, exercising and cooking, and is an avid roadtripper.
