Professional background:
Dr Stephanie Demkiw (MBBS, B.BiomedSci, FRACGP) completed her medical degree in Queensland in 2011. Prior to her time in general practice, she was a hospital-based doctor working mainly in the area of general surgery and urology.
Professional interests:
Stephanie’s key interests are adolescent and youth health, teen and adult mental health, paediatrics, urology and women’s health. Stephanie is a passionate advocate for patients and caregivers affected by cancer, and sits on the board of the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition based in Brussels.
Stephanie is a wonderful communicator, friendly, kind and considerate, and will take the time to get to the bottom of your healthcare concerns.
Personal Interests outside of work:
Outside of medicine, Stephanie enjoys art, film, pop culture and spending time with her four children.
